Day Thirteen - Routeburn Track, Part Three

This was our final big day of the track. We had another late start to avoid the crowds and had a beautiful walk in the rainforest. We passed dozens of waterfalls and streams. At times, the path itself was a stream. It was another beautiful sunny day. We stopped for lunch at Earland Falls. We ended the day by hiking to Howden Lake where we spent the night in Howden Hut. Tomorrow we leave the track for Milford Sound!
